Guest Relations Executive


Resposibilities / Requirements include:

  • Report to the Guest Relations Manager.
  • Handle reception, reservations and housekeeping’s daily operations
  • Answer all telephone calls promptly and accurately by using standard telephone verbiage.
  • Provide courteous service in dealing with local and overseas enquiries
  • To record and process all reservation inquiries and overseas hotel bookings. 
  • Handling of day to day operations and email management.
  • Create all reservations received during respectively shift. 
  • Maintain proper records of documents and correspondences.
  • Handle all in-house guests’ request on time in appropriate manner.
  • Handle all guests’ feedback and ensure it is resolved amicably.
  • Assist GRM to handle guest complaint, both written and verbal. 
  • Ensure documentation of all guest related issues using the daily shift log.
  • Meet, greet, room and send important guests.
  • Handle check-in and check-out of guests and cashiering duties. 
  • Build relationships with guests to delight and gain loyalty and ensures all interactions with guests are handled professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate with M&E, plan and schedule for regular room maintenance.
  • Ensure the safety, security procedures are complied within the entire hotel. 
  • Responsive to situations and activities that take place at the Lobby, public areas and guestrooms.
  • Perform registration of all in-house guests & visitors according to hotel standard requirement.
  • Ensure credit check is carried out daily to all in-house guests.
  • Inspect all vacant clean rooms before guests’ arrival.
  • Perform site inspection with potential guests, Travel Agents and Corporate Clients. 
  • Offer improvement and suggestions to improve hotel service level and revenue.
  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices. 
  • Knowledge about activities available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establish contacts with vendors in these areas in order to provide information, ticketing and reservations for guests.
  • Assure that concierge desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps and other local attractions are updated and current. 
  • Process packages, faxes, messages and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.
